This was the first of 18 Mitsubish FP270J based heavy pumps built for the NZ Fire Service by Lowes Industries. This 1993 example was new to Auckland but following what was intended to be a midlife refurbishment it was briefly loaned to the South Island. It returned to the Auckland area but was shortly after written off when it rolled at speed.
