New Zealand Mitsubishi RS5791

Until recently overtaken by the Iveco ML120EC25, the Mitsubishi FK160F light pump represented the most popular appliance in NZ Fire Service history with exactly 100 appliances built (2 pumps were also built for rural fire).

This 1992 example was built by Mills Tui & features a Darley pump & 2000 litres of water. It was originally allocated to the Geraldine Volunteer Brigade where it served as a pump rescue tender. It was since been reallocated to the Coalgate Auxillary Brigade - it retains its rescue markings although it no longer performs this role. As an aside another NZ Fire Service ruling states that no light pump can now act as a pump rescue tender.
