Taken during operator training, this shows Christchurch's 2006 Econic 2633/Bronto 32m ALP together with its predecessor, an ex UK Scania Bronto demonstrator (photos to be sent to the group later). There are now four of these Econic/Bronto 32m ALPs in the New Zealand Fire Service.

The Scania was registered in England as E717 SON and after life as a demonstrator bought by the then Cheshire Fire Brigade (now Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service) and served at Chester. The bodywork was completed by Carmichael. See picture 24159 for it at Chester

its now been lengthened the scania and looks a monstrosity
