New Zealand Iveco Cargo 1218

This 1991 Iveco Cargo 1218 was new to the Te Anau Volunteer Brigade. On being replaced it was allocated to the relief fleet & is shown while at Oamaru. Shortly after this photo was taken it collided with a bridge & has now been written off.

The Cargo is still being built in Brazil, where it is quite popular as a fire engine chassis. They aee also exported to some other south American countries, and a few are to be found on this site.
