This 1989 GT11-18 was originally allocated to the Royal NZ Air Force. It was the first of these appliances to be disposed of and was purchased by the Christchurch City Council Rural Fire Authority & it is based at Bottle Lake Forest. It has since been restriped but retains the front mounted monitor.
