Very little is known about this V8 including the year of manufacture. It served the industrial fire brigade at Mt Cook & is privately owned.

Looking at the grille - it is a 1938 American Ford.

Possible that this is an ex Army fire appliance from the Christchurch area, before heading to Mt Cook.
