John, My Father drove one of the MK6s at RAF Pershore. He was what was I believe Defence Fire Service at that time. Is it possible to contact you and find out what other pictures you have please.

I believe that the vehicle is an FV651(A) Alvis Salamander with the top hamper being built by Pyrene .
It has a 240hp Rolls Royce B81 8 in line petrol engine, driving through a Wilson pre-selector transmission.
Some 80 units were supplied to the RAF, the foam discharge rate through the manual monitor plus 2 side lines is 5000gpm for 2 minutes.
