Fire Truck Services have this truck in for refurbishment, the body, tank & pump have all been removed for a chassis & driveline refurb.
Once complete the fireside equipment will be refurbished fitted and tested then the body will go back on.
There are a number of modification to be carried out to the bodywork to bring it up to modern day H&S standards.

This appliance was one of the original batch of 6 Scania series 4s bought by L&B. I believe L&B were the first brigade in the UK to operate this model of Scania, with the first ever one going operational at Hawick (P265 WSH). P268 WSH was used as a driver training appliance from new and was never an operational pump with L&B and was in use until last year as a driver training vheicle.
