The firetruck is manufactured in 1937 in Odense, and was working in Copenhagen until 1962, when Torshavn firebrigade bought it and was in service until 1970's.
Kartni, what an incredible vehicle you have captured in your photographs, the business end of the rear-end pump has my attention, and I'm wondering about the hand reels, or whatever they are, , ??!!
The side mounted reels are for 70/75MM supply and attack hose. The rear pair are for 45/52MM attack lines, and the transverse reel at the rear looks like a 20/25MM "trash line", as this pumper has no first aid hose reels. Careful examination shows correspondingly-dimensioned pump outlets. Triangel pumps of this era included units which could deliver more than 3, 000 LPM, and this may be one. The suction looks like a 140/150MM tube, which would be the right size for this type of capacity. Apart from separating the crew from the OIC, it is a pretty advanced design for 1937!
