What length is it? It seems to have 4 sections but be too short for a c100 footer. Is that a bendy end to the top section? I only ever saw one at one of the Glasgow exhibitions a few years ago but never one on an operational appliance. How does the cost compare with an ALP?
Its 32 metres apparently, (105ft) and cost £500, 000

It`s a Metz L32A (L=Ladder 32metres A=articulated), five sections with a bendy end. I think, it`s the first of this type in UK. Since around four years on the market, a lot of them are being in service for brigades in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other countries. Regards
The vehicle this replaced was registered in 1999 and lasted just under 12 years. It had a reach of 24-metres. The new TL is 32-metres and is expected to last until 2027. All in all, a much better investment.
