What is the IFRA?

Rob IFRA is an organised charity that started in Feb 2001 based in Fife who donate older refurbished fire appliances and ambulances with equipment to poorer countries like Bosnia etc. They also do training how to use the equipment. Hope this helps.

I don't know about ambulances, but there seem to be a lot of fire appliances which are still very serviceable after their "first life" with UK fire services. It is good to know there is an organization like this to give them a second life as a useful resource in overseas fire services.
