whats this unit used for spare bfu or a usar role

This is the Heavy Distribution Unit. I guess that it is similar to a Multi Role Vehicle?

Does anyone know where exactly the Brigade Distribution Centre is in Croydon?

Not totally sure but I think foam in bulk was 1 of the items it can carry depending on the incident.
