Iveco light van PC3 Paris Fire departmentThis light truck is used by the BSPP, firefighters from Paris, as mobile headquarters during major operations. The letters "PC" is translated elsewhere by HQ. The number 3 indicates that the vehicle depends on the third fire group, based in Courbevoie-La Défense, which manages the entire western third and southwest of Paris and its suburbs. Each group has about two fire trucks of this type. In addition to the BSPP has similar vehicles for special missions such as bombings, airplane crashes, or derailment of trains or subways. Then they are called PC-DSM (DSM = Directeur des Soins Médicaux or in english Care Medical Directors) and those involved in this reinforcement vehicles PC already.

By opening flaps, desktops and building in folding steps, activities can be carried out outside the vehicle, which in other places would be inside a much larger bus-sized control unit...
It is also very likely that these units are a lot less costly than the kind of full sized units found elsewhere, not to mention Karlsruhe's double deck bus ELW2!
