FDNY Memorial Wall (center) at Ten House This is the second picture of the FDNY Memorial Wall at Ten House by the side of the World Trade Center site.
The middle of the Memorial Sculpture depicts the Twin Towers ablaze and one can only speculate on the feelings that those brave firefighters and other rescuers must have felt when they were faced with such a harrowing sight on the morning of 11 September 2001.
The Memorial Wall is dedicated to the memory of the 343 active personnel of the NYC Fire Department and also of Volunteer Firefighter Glenn J. Winuk, a partner in the national law firm of Holland & Knight, who gave their lives attempting rescues on that tragic day.
The law firm donated the superbly crafted Memorial Wall in recognition of the sacrifice given by firefighters on 9/11 but also honours all firefighters worldwide.
Further details about the Memorial Wall will be included with the third and final picture.
