Rear shot of the pump escape - the rear bodywork is very good - the cab requires a bit more work ! - 13,000 miles from new - and a former 'museum piece' with Norfolk Fire Service at Bressingham - As a point of interest can anyone identify the escape ladder ? it has a 'Miles Mounting' the plumbing gear is a hand wheel on the n/s of the carriage and the strings are solid wood - not laminated as Bayleys usually are - they also have a reinforcing wire set into the length of the strings - the carriage wheels are beyond repair !

I may be mistaken but it looks like a Bayley war pattern escape, the 'Miles Mounting' was probably fitted when it was married up to this particular appliance

I would tend to agree with you - I thought it was a wartime escape as well !
