This ladder was dispatched in the TFD's first convoy to the Fukushima nuclear power station on March 18th, 2011.
The TL has returned on Saturday March 26 to its station.

Note that this tower ladder does not have any fixed monitors or hose line standpipe connections. These can be seen on the turret, and are attached by crew members when needed.

The rationale is that when they are not needed, they are not in the way of rescue activities, which are by far the most common operations being carried out by ladder crews at incidents.
