Hino-Magirus TL40 (Ueno FS, 6th district)

This ladder was dispatched in the TFD's first convoy to the Fukushima nuclear power station on March 18th, 2011.
The TL has returned on Saturday March 26 to its station.

Tokyo also bought a few Iveco-Magirus ladders, which was a bit unusual, because Japanese fire services do not often buy imported vehicles - unless they are Unimogs.

It was several years ago, so I do not know if they are still in front line service.
