'hi morgan, these were from a firemans collection I acquired (with full copyright) and I think it was actually taken at the station where they were based!
The two wagon's in this photo was taken during an exercise at (thornaby) stn 5.. or echo theses days.. DAJ 700T was the ET from (stockton) stn 2.. BRAVO theses days.. days of old found memories..
TDC 620M went south many years ago.. taken to FORD'S to be repainted and added with the old TEESSIDE markings was rallied for a few years then parked up in a barn.. then lost complete touch of what happened to that great wagon.. took it from cleveland to london what a drive that was.. are you the Martin who's got DAJ 700T..
Good project to take on. Have you been informed by Mr Hall? That I've got one of the lads who drove DAJ on hand for advice and I've given Mr Hall some photos for you to be passed on to you as they are of DAJ when it was at stn2 showing the equipment carried on it Dave
Ian do you have any more details, i may be in the position to rescue it if its available?
Hi Dave, mr Hall hasn't mentioned it but it depends when you told him, would be great to speak to any guys who worked on it as theres still some things im unsure about.....
Martin - I have no doubt that I'm telling you something which you already know, but DAJ 700T was the only Dennis F133 built ! (Yes, there were many DF133 jobs, but they were totaly different animals of course).

hi ian...i didnt actually know it was the only one, i thought there were a few built but as they were built to spec they were all different making it unique in that way.
Hello Martin, While I think on.. I'm sure I've got some CCFB uniform & fire kit knocking around and your welcome to have it to place on either DAJ or your other ex CCFB wagon.. Talk soon Dave
I do think that update on the front grille of the ET was a really retrograde move, compared to its slightly older brother pump in this photo. Of course fire engine design is not a beauty contest, as long as the vehicles work well, but that clagged on farm gate just doesn’t do anything compared to earlier Dennis designs.
