Dennis Merryweather TL GLW 424
This is another view of GLW 424 which arrived this week. In a previous life it was with Bristol Fire Brigade. picture 12550 on this site shows this wonderful machine when in service. It is powered by a Meadows 6EX engine which is now lacking some of it's essential components. Any reports of spare 6EX engines would be gratefully received.

Good luck Barry - GXA 98 is now in a better display condition if you're ever up in Glasgow. Alternatively, if you want me to take images of an area of it for you let me know? ;-)

Bob, I would like to come and see GXA98. I have read the previous notes about the new display with the ladder elevated. Alongside GLW424 in my shed is GXA95. It would be intersting to see how identical '95 is to '98.

This chassis looks identical to 999 MHN's predecessor, the 1938 Dennis-Morris-Magirus 27 meter TL EHN 118.
