The Magirus 90 series was a rebadged OM 90, included in the Magirus line of fire trucks after Magirus merged into IVECO. IVECO already included FIAT, which had previously acquired the OM brand in Italy, along with their current product range.

This pumper was typical, and was actually a slihjyly modified 9 tonne GVW panel van. The 65 BHP engine was rather weak and both pump capacity and tank size were limited.

But this was not a big seller, and - not surprisingly = its modest Italian origins did not offer performance, durability or reliability to rival its main competitor, the Mercedes 813.
