Dennis Big 6 fire engine help needed
Hello, Kieran Duffy here. I am living in Ireland and would appreciate some information or photos to help with the restoration of a 1933 Dennis Big6 with meadows engine and in particular where I could get parts for a meadows engine. Here is a photograph of the fire engine at present.

Hi Have you seen the pictures Andrew Wright has of this vehicle on this web site. My Dad and I have the York Big Six also on this web site. We think yours was new to Belfast and would say in about 1934 ish. The West Ham Big Six is earlier than ours and yours seems to bear resemblences to both in body style, I would not say yours is not much if any later than 1934 as it has the engine badged by Dennis not Meadows. Hello Keiran please check out the website of the NSWFB museum of fire they have a dennis big 6 it was the training school appliance when I joined the NSWFB. There is at least one photo of it on the site and if you contact them they might be able to help you with more pictures and info. it was known as 132ME. I hope that I have been some help to you. If you can tell me the chassis number, I might be able to help you with some more information.Do you know what its registration number was in the UK as well a in Eire.
