Preston Hall Fire Engine Rally Pump Test 2006
!978 Land Rover/HCB-Angus L4P doing its pump test during the 2006 Preston Hall Fire Engine Rally, Stockton down on the River Tees on the Saturday evening. Was new to British Steel Cumbria before being sold in 1983 to Bowater Scott, Tissue Manufactures, Barrow-in-Furness. After doing only 3,700 miles in 23 years it was bought by the present owner in 2001 and is being restored on a rolling programme as time and money permit.

Won this trophy again in 2010. Must be doing something right.

These industrial fire appliances did a lot of good work, hope the restoration goes well.
