Cleveland County J688 VEF
J688 VEF (038) was based at Middlesbrough at the time this photo. Unsure of concrete details of allocations. This must of been brand new at the time of the photo as it is still carrying "County" on the door.
You can actually purchase this (J688 VEF) as a 1:50 scale build-up model kit, a photo does come with the model obviously so you get an idea of what the real thing looks like and on the photo it has been striped of the "County" which must of been after 1994 and it was currently stationed at Redcar as Delta 1. I am assuming it went to Redcar station after serving at Boro.
