I came across this 'abandoned' machine whilst driving through the countryside in Cyprus on the 9th January 2010. I understand that these appliances are parked in strategic locations for forest and scrubland firefighting throughout the island

And when they get Bondoo fires they need all the help they can get. My son attended some when stationed at Acrotiri with the RAF
