Invermere Rescue One Pierce Heavy RescueThe brand new Rescue truck from the Invermere Fire department arrived in 2010. It was bought with help from donations from local businesses. The department. This truck is serving a large area, from halfway between Windermere and Fairmont to the south, north to Harrogate, east to the Alberta border (including all the backroads such as Settlers Road) and west to the Purcells. Sometimes a drive to a incident can take a lot of time. Therefore you can find a microwave on board.
This unit is built by Pierce. I can tell you the fire crew is very proud on this very nice rig.
Special thanks to Deputy Fire chief Tom and his fire crew for the help during my visit.
