KJR 136 as it is today
This is how she looks this morning! (8/01/2011) The paintwork on the miles body is a bit patchy, so is earmarked for a respray as soon as the climate improves. The aim now is to bring her back to her original spec as a hose/ personel carrier. If anyone has any pointers to things that are wrong, please post a comment!

I have the former Northumberland (Seahouses) Dennis /Miles F8 (see picture 2305) this has handpainted crests as they should be - the originals are no longer available - if you wish, post respray I can take photos and email them to you ?

Ric, thank you very much for that kind offer. The crests that are in place at the mo are the small Northumbria fire and rescue ones, which I guess are later.

Yes Dave the Badges that are on are much newer, and much smaller. The correct badges are a larger COA with no fire brigade star behind.

Only three of the original six had made it? Dave, thats a very good survival rate indeed! I just wish that three ex Newcastle AECs had 'just made it' now that would have been something to see.

I'm now posting a black & white of one of the six in its original hose carrier guise. I also have a colour rear shot of the Alnwick one complete with its trailer pump which I'll post when I unearth it.
