The Super Pumper group consists of an independently powered high capacity pump mounted on a 4X4 chassis and a hose wagon on an identical chassis as pictured here, which carries 2000 meters of 125 mm hose.
They are primarily intended to relay water after an earthquake, when mains may be broken and some road surfaces are seriously damaged. They can, of course, also be used for water relays at any other situation where a relay is needed.
Both Hino and Unimog chassis are in use, and photos of both types can be seen on this site.
I am not sure, but I believe the pump capacity is around 6, 000 LPM.
