this has been sat around gathering dust for ages. Don't know if its on the run yet.there's 2 in the county 1 is going to nuneaton which hasn't had a areial for years and the other to replace a v reg erf hp at leamington spa.
What happens with a combined rescue aerial pump when its a lone or first machine at a job and you need to get set in as a pump with main jets then find you need the platform but not in the same position?
No good Rick, it seems you need a complete lack of knowledge of what has gone before so you can keep on reinventing the wheel or in my case the wheeled escape. Beefed up Lacon with lightweight wheels on a sliding carrage but retain direct line haulage for extension
The one at Nuneaton is now in service and the Leamington one will be hopefully next week. I have been told that if it goes to a job as a pump thats what it will do and not be used as a aerial. But if it goes out to a job req as a aerial thats what it will do and nothing else.
