Engine?

Added by David Jones on 12 November 2010.
David, its certainly not unusual for many small American Fire Dept's to operate this type of rig as an Engine Company even though it carries a 75ft mid-mount aerial ladder, it also carries ground ladders. This particular type apparatus also carries a 500gal water tank and a 1500gpm pump for firefighting operations.

very nice small town unit I have to say though in all my years I have never seen a blue fire rig.

Almost all of the Sellersburg fleet is white over blue, not sure when they started the colour scheme but I know they had a couple engines in the early 1970s that were blue.
