Marcel out of interest , are there respraying the older appliances into the new colour scheme or are they leaving them until they retire from service ? The only reason for asking is I've got a picture of a DAF with a red cab and wide white stripe with brandweer down the whole side of the cab, then I've seen another picture on here with the new blue and white livery on it. Hi Calvin, the livery on the Dutch appliances is becoming more standard. All new appliances are delivered in the blue and white livery. Brigades are looking at the age of the appliances and decide if they will respray them. Because it's costly to respray them, it's most likely if a appliance is replaced in 2 to 3 years they will leave the old livery.
