I do love these typical 1950's style village fire stations. This one pump station in the High Street at Beaulieu was opened in 1955.
As well as giving fire cover to this typical small rural Hampshire village in the New Forest, which has light industry, ship yards, forestry plantations, open heathland and farmland, its actually also the home to the Montagu National Motor Museum.

Ha, I know what you mean't Pete, but the museum isn't housed in the fire station!

Thankyou Michael G.Yes, to make it a little clearer, the National Motor Museum is in Beaulieu, Hampshire just like the Beaulieu Fire Station.
