What is the role of AFS nowadays?

David to answer your question, the AFS in Dublin has 12 appliances and 2 ETs and act in support of the full time professional Brigade. Roles are wildland fires, flooding and water relay. Flooding has been the main role in the past few years. They do not have BA training and do not do structural fire fighting.

yes they do............as we did prior to the disbandment of our AFS......a big mistake
