New 12000l bulk water tanker for Jandakot bush fire brigade prior to delivery, about another 8 are to be built for bush fire brigades by FESA in Western Australian
John, thanks for the pic, hot off the press! Where was the photo taken and what is the red fire vehicle parked behind? What's in the back of the tanker, looks a bit sort of 'tacked on' so to speak? Have you got any other pics you could post of her, thanks.
Sweet Picture! I saw it in action the other day and it says jandakot BWT on the side instead of Jandakot 12.2. Who wanted that changed?

The reason for the name change to BWT is that the tanker still isn't fully certified to carry the full 12, 000L due to a weight issue. Tank has been configured for about 9000L for the time being. This pic was taken at the FESA workshops in O'Conner prior to delivery, on the other side of the locker is the portable pump / collar tank, on the back is just the pump and delivery valves.

BWT stands for Bulk Water Tanker. They did not want it mistaken for a fire fighting appliance. It is for water supply only.

there are other 12.2s coming out and they are going to be called 12.2s. They were to be called BWTs but over the radios its 'hard to understand' or something. Thus the ones coming out now are 12.2s not BWTs. Jandakot's will remain a BWT.
There is a couple of pictures of this appliance on the fire cadets and co website in the appliances and equipment album of the photo gallery.
The red appliance in the background is a Special Equipment Tender or SET
