When I walked past Somerton Fire Station in September 2010 I saw that the door was open and therefore got this photo.

It shows Volvo FL6.14-250 Saxon WrL WJ52HTN. I think this appliance started out at Shepton Mallett. It is the second of these Volvos to be based at Somerton. The previous one was similar W265RYB.

Volvo was new to Shepton Mallet as the WRL, moved to Wells about a year and a half ago as the first away WRL and has been at Somerton a couple of months. I believe their old W reg Volvo was getting a bit tired.
