The fire brigade of Schüttorf has also a bigger water tender. In places where you need more water this truck is uesefull.
It's a Magirus Deutz 2232D17 with a Magirus bodywork.The capacity 2400 l/m and a tank of 5000 litres of water and 500 litres of foam.
The monitor on top can give 2500 l/m of water. It was built in 1980, and replaced in 2005.

The small town in north - west germany, near the border to netherlands, is "Schüttorf". This big water tenders are used for first attacs and car fires on streets and highways "Autobahn". In the late seventeens, Magirus promoted this trucks as the "gernman bulls", die "deutschen Bullen".

Hi Marcel! Before this type became Tlf 24/50, they was called GTLF, thats german for GrossTankLöschFahrzeuge. In english, Great Water Tender.
