New to Fossway Station in the east end of Newcastle as Foxtrot Zero 3

She has arrived safely in Malta. The Civil Protection Department(as the fire brigade is known here) have a number of these TLs, one of which was involved in an accident a few years ago, it went off the road and rolled. This appliance together with the accident damaged TL are currently at the CPD's Hal Far fire station undergoing repair work. I am not sure what the nature of the work is though.

I'd be interested in how the Maltese Civil Protection Department were made aware of this vehicle, and the story of this vehicle's acqusition. I saw this on Tyneside back in 1998, and I thought it wasn't as impressive as the ex Newcastle AEC TLs.

They bought it through a dealer near Doncaster and have had vehicles from the same source in the past.
