Adran Tân Môn Bedford
Bedford J2/HCB. This Bedford was allocated to Holyhead in 1963 replacing a Commer QX/Carmichael WrT AEY 525 which was reallocated to Beaumaris. NEY was later transferred to Rhosneigr in 1973 when both the Range Rover L6P TEY188L arrived and the Fire Department set up a fire station in an adapted garage on High Street in Rhosneigr. This then made seven fire stations on the Isle of Anglesey. When Rhosneigr recieved Karrier 75A "Gamcock"/Carmichael CCC 42 from Pwllheli in 1975, NEY was reallocated to Dolgellau. After disposal from Gwynedd in 1977, NEY was purchased by Wylfa Nuclear power station and used at wylfa until 1989 when they recieved a Mercedes-Benz 1120/Carmichael PFoT F389NLC ex demonstrator. Seen here in 1995 around the back of a garage in Amlwch, she has been disposed off and her registration transferred to another vehicle. Another registration transfer recently was CCC 63 from Abersoch's Gamecock to another vehicle. CCC 63 was converted into a recovery vehicle by a chap in Clynnogfawr and held in a garage in Penygroes for several years.
