Ex Greater Manchester. Dennis DFS237/Saxon WrL. Only 10 water ladder appliances for the UK were ever built on the heavier DFS TL/HP chassis and were allocated to Greater Manchester in 1994. nine were bodied by Saxon and one was bodied by Bedwas. The Bedwas bodied appliances was differant in the fact that it had a side mounted pump as opposed to rear pumps. The one above was allocated to Staleybridge.
