the line up at Nantwich when it was still "Cheshire Fire Brigade" and my Uncle was "Station Officer"
left to right, Dennis SS133 D692 PMB, cant remember, or find the reg for the land rover, Dennis DS151 B494 CMB

I can remember nantwich being Day-manning. Down graded and moved the pump to Crewe and Crewe's retained sent to Nantwich.

Does anyone know how stable- or not- the Land Rover FT6 (forward control) Carmichael Redwing appliances were, when on- road asopposed to off- road?

I used to own a ft6 standard 109 from waist down doortops 4 inch higher about 2 foot add to chassis at front handels as a normal 109 but overhang at front limits some offroad use.
