It is built on an Opel Blitz chassis, made by GM Germany. The bodywork and pump are from Carl Metz, a German fire engine firm most famous for their turntable ladders. You can see the "Metz" logo on the body panel between the front and rear cab doors. This unit was probably built in the 1950s or early 1960s.
