In City days this was designated a FoT. Carried large quantity of Protein foam in 5 gallon drums.
Also used on a number of tip fires where it would pump for days on end with no problem.

Some other cities - including Cardiff - re-used ex AFS EPs like this as foam tenders, too.

They do look much better in red!

Cardiff also used a WWII ex NFS heavy unit in the same role in the sixties, so in their case history repeated itself...
