What a lovely machine, I remember these TK's well. Some were fitted the Rolls Royce petrol engine. They were replaced, briefly by Fords, before Hereford and Worcester went over to Dennis'. If Pete Matten reads this, can you let me know if any of these TK's survive.

Sorry Matt, this sure is a nice designed Bedford TK/HCB-Angus WrL from 1970/71,but this is the first I've seen with this design of bodywork by HCB.I've certainly never seen one of these at the rallies I've attended over the years, and cannot find any other details.I'll keep searching though on this one. Ian(Mr Moore),can you help on this one with any data please stating if one did survive into preservation,I certainly can't find any information and details at this time.Thanks,Pete.
What a fantastic looking TK. Chrome bumper, mirror and wheel trims. I like this type of lockers too. Thanks Petros for sharing. I still have a soft spot for the TK's.
Thanks for reply Pete, I'm not having much luck in establishing if an of Hereford and Worcester's TK's survive. I'm also searching for their Dennis R series. They had a handful, T reg's, any ideas where I could find out if they're still around? Many thanks for help and advice, Matt

not H&W but similar TKEL survives thanks to Simon Rowley - see picture 20740.
Matt, there was one of H&W Dennis R series at a couple of rallies mid 2000's, not sure of reg. It had stripework on it similar to the RS types, which as you will now was not on them when new. I did have a photo on my old laptop, will look on my memorysticks for it.
Matt, KNP434T was preserved, it was at Derby Fire&Rescue show in 2006, but not seen it since. It looked well cared for then so hopefully its still around.
This appliance was not fitted with a Rolls Royce Engine but a standard Bedford Engine which was under powered for the size of the vehicle. I drove this appliance in 1975/76 when it was the Water Tender Ladder at Kidderminster.
Peter, thanks for info on 434T, I don't know why I hadn't seen it on here before. It doesn't come up when you search for Dennis R series. The hi viz stripes do not look right, apart from that the old girl looks good.
