at perth for a b/a excercise with the crew of 31 alyth , previous appliance from the same station can just be seen in the background , volvo e-one , some say they were better , certainly held the road better and were faster as it was the supercharger version but the scania is better overall

I remember this appliance and it's sister W637 OSP as emergency tenders at station 2 MacAlpine and 23 Perth before being converted to pumps but I only have photos as photographs and on disc so can not download them on here.
It's sister W637 OSP is now a reserve appliance RSV and spoted today at station 11 Kingsway deputising for their 2Nd O11-2.

This is now a reserve and Alyth has a Y reg which is pretty much the same , Blairgowrie where I am has a Scania 07 and 05 reg , the newer with John Dennis body and by far the best appliance I have ever been on considering I started in 1983 and we had Dodge 500 series with the fantastic Perkins v8 , what a sound but so draughty with no cab heater and therefore cold in the winter, but great memories.
