Leyand Cub FK9A BRG 586Ordered by City of Aberdeen, but then delivered in 1941 in (we think) NFS grey, or painted very shortly after. Even though having the Limousine Body type, having a roof and doors the "A" of the FK9A denotes none of the fancy fittings were on this i.e. the trim above the windows etc to save on non ferrous metal for the war effort, however after this one only FK8As were built as they had a rear mounted pump and saved a large quantity of brass from the pump fittings. This was the only FK9A built. Picture taken in our garage, and is undergoing a long term restoration.
