I believe that this L4P was located at Polruan fire station

This appliance(L6P)is from 1974 and is a Rangerover 6X4/Carmichael Commando.The appliance was supplied to the Cornwall County Fire Brigade and was stationed at Polruan which is a small fishing village with very narrow streets.It was the only appliance of this type in Cornwall going out of service in 1993 and into preservation and was then owned by Andy Kerton of Tonbridge in Kent.

Ah, thanks for the info, Pete; as it looks quite the "fully-loaded" Mini-Pumper and a Front-Mount Pump, too!

It actually went back in active service with Shotton Paper Mill then a friend bought it and it was sold to an enthusiast who restored it but not as pictured (yet)??
