This machine is NVF 237 which began life as a WrT but was converted into a FoST and served in that role at King's Lynn. It is seen here at Bressingham Steam Museum when it was home to the Norfolk Fire Museum's appliances (it isn't anymore). After a year or two outside including a spell at the Flixton Aviation Museum, it has now returned to inside storage but it's long term future is uncertain.

Chris, Love this style of appliance a real life Dinky Toy. I would really love to view it. Could you assist? has it been stripped bells etc. What modifications were done when it operated as a foam tender
Hello Bob, I don't think this machine is accessible to the public at the moment - I haven't seen it myself for two years, however if you search flickr for 'Flixton fire engine' and 'Flixton Aviation Museum' there are photos taken last year. Regarding the modifications, the tank and pump were removed leaving a large open space which held drums of foam compound. The lockers were retained and a ladder was mounted above them on the nearside. When I last saw it, the bells were still in place but the searchlight may have been removed for safe keeping.
