Ex Clwyd Volvo FL6 14, North Wales FRSRunning as the 3rd away (retained)pump on 14.3.2010. E799VWM was new in 1988 as the first Clwyd Volvo FL6 14 (The 1st and 2nd Volvos on the run in the UK being Clwyds but with FL6 16 chassis). She was new to E4 Chirk and served her entire frontline career there, being replaced by a cascaded P reg Volvo/Saxon Volumax. 22 years old now,she is seen deputising for Wrexhams 3rd pump(V34DRN). Allegedly still a better drive than the 57 plate Merc Atego and 58 plate MAN newer deliveries. A credit to former Transport Manager Frank Laska and all those that have looked after her for all these years.
