Nice photo Marcel. I have a few more questions if you don't mind. What is the rated pump pressure at 6500lpm? 10 bar? More/less? What size is the supply hose? Is it all laid by hand seeing it is rolled up? Does the prime mover crew set it up or does a separate crew responding with the mover do that?
Hi David and Pat, We saw this unit during our visit with the Dutch Fire Enthusiast organisation. I don't have much information about this unit. Perhaps one of the other Dutch visitors can help you with the information.
Would this pump be also used for Flooding Situations eg damage to the dikes, or, storm surge on the sea-tides ?
I was thinking of the pump mechanism coping with muddy water, for a long period of pumping away.
There must be quite a National Organization for stationing these Pumps around The Netherlands, in event of serious flooding from the dikes.
From the old pictures in history; we all know the famous wind-mill water-pumps of The Netherlands!
