Fire Engines Photos

This F8 Water Tender has been owned for many years by Brett Clayton from Darlington. Brett has been the organiser of the Teesside Airport and later Preston Park Fire Engine Rally. The pump and Brett have appeared in the television series Heartbeat.....once being towed by a tractor after breaking down on set....only the top quarter of the appliance showing clanging its way to the fire, over the top of a roadside hedge !!!1

Mr Green where do you get your information? to be correct, URBY was getting towed from ending up in the clarts! at a simulated farm job, after the request from the director to get nearer the fire a stack in the middle of a field the power of TV stardom. The only time she has let me down was on our wedding day! Jealously!
