ANC778T was indeed the first Dennis RS and its photo featured on advertising brochures from Dennis in 1979. It was on the run at Bolton Central as the 2nd pump when I was posted there as a Stn O in 1980. The second RS to be produced was ANC779T, and both these two appliances ran at Bolton throughout the early 80s as first & second pumps.

Can anybody please confirm weather Dennis RS reg ENB 643T was a Manchester pump? and any further imfo on it. Many Thanks, Malc.

Yes I would be 99% sure it was. I remember WRLs in GMCFS with very similar registrations in the 1980s.

The 643 was a Manchester appliance and was originally based at Rochdale before moving to Horwich with sister 644.
